Dr. Eric Last is a primary care internist in a full-time outpatient practice. He's a clinical assistant professor at the  Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and participates in the Initial Clinical Experience Program mentoring first- and second-year medical students. He's particularly interested in medical humanities, and narrative medicine. He's published several essays about the experience of caring for patients across the continuum of practice.
